The drums and loudspeakers used during Ganpati Visarjan this year contributed to making the noise level the highest ever in Mumbai, crossing the 'danger' mark, a city-based NGO said. According to data shared by Awaaz Foundation, the combination of drums and banjo used in processions created the highest noise at 115.6dB at Marine Drive's Babulnath corner and 112.1dB in Bandra.
