The Australian government on Tuesday said it will remove TikTok from all federal government-owned devices over security concerns. The ban will come into effect "as soon as practicable", Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus said. The Chinese-owned video app has also been banned from government devices in the US, Canada, Britain, New Zealand, France, Belgium and the European Commission.
